Description
This was the last shot I got off while on assignment during my last trip to Dubai. I had stepped in to photograph this man working in his shop. NOTHING worked. I tried all sorts of things and the guy just wasn't being responsive. I doubt it had anything to do with a sort of anti-American sentiment, it was probably that I was bugging him while he was working, which is always a danger for a journalist. Most guys don't want to be bothered while they're at work. Would you like me in your store, blasting off a flash and asking you to tilt your chin just a bit? Probably not. I thanked the man for his time, apologized for disturbing and walked out. I thought I'd shoot the store front just because, but I saw him there behind the counter. One shot, one kill. I didn't even get his name.

Fabulous shot...I think it works well, and your story is entertaining as well.
It reminds me of the markets in England when I visited. Actually many photos in your gallery bring me back to that summer.
